We are thrilled to share that Colectivo and Wildlands have been shortlisted for the Green Collaboration Award at the 2025 Green Awards in association with Bord na Móna. Established in 2008, the Green Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Irish businesses committed to sustainability and environmental innovation. This recognition underscores our dedication to driving impactful sustainability projects and fostering leadership in green practices.
🤝🏼 The Collaboration: Regenerating Tourism through Sustainability
This nomination highlights the success of our partnership with Wildlands, a 40-acre adventure park in Moycullen, Galway. Together, we developed and implemented a comprehensive sustainability action plan as part of the EU-funded Circular Economy 4 Regenerative Tourism (CE4RT) initiative. Key activities included:
Leadership Coaching: Coaching sessions with Wildlands’ senior leaders to support circular economy planning, innovation, and sustainability.
Specialising Training: Interactive masterclasses focused on circular economy principles, behaviour change, and sustainable tourism innovation.
Defined Goals: Establishing 31 sustainability objectives with 76 actionable steps across short, medium, and long-term.
Employee Engagement: Defined a Green Team model to drive sustainability efforts within Wildlands and embed regenerative practices across its operations.
