Behaviour Change for Sustainability Is Live and Free (For a Limited Time)

We’re excited to share that our new online course, Behaviour Change for Sustainability, is now live.

For a short pre-launch period, we’ve made the course free to access. This is a deliberate choice, one rooted in how we believe sustainability learning should work.

Why behaviour change matters for sustainability

Sustainability strategies are increasingly common. Targets are set, policies are written, and commitments are made. Yet many organisations still struggle to translate those intentions into consistent action.

That’s because sustainability isn’t just a technical challenge, it’s a behaviour change challenge.

At the centre of every sustainability initiative are people: making decisions, following routines, working within constraints, and balancing competing priorities.

Behaviour Change for Sustainability focuses on this human side of change. It explores why behaviours don’t always shift, even when people care, and how behavioural science can help design environments, systems, and routines that support lasting action.

What the course covers

The course brings together sustainability and behavioural science in a practical, accessible way. It explores topics such as:

  • Why good intentions don’t always lead to action

  • The Intention-Action Gap

  • How habits, environments, and social norms shape behaviour

  • Practical behaviour change frameworks (including COM-B)

  • Designing sustainability initiatives that work in real organisational contexts

It’s designed for professionals across roles, sustainability, ESG, HR, operations, leadership, and change, and requires no prior knowledge of behavioural science.

Who this is for

This course is for anyone who:

  • Cares about sustainability but feels stuck on how to drive change

  • Works in or with organisations navigating sustainability transitions

  • Wants practical tools, not just theory

  • Is curious about the human side of change

Whether you’re just starting out or already deeply involved in sustainability work, the course is designed to meet you where you are.

A limited-time opportunity

This free access is part of the pre-launch phase only. In the future, Behaviour Change for Sustainability will be offered as a paid course.

If you’re interested in behaviour-led sustainability and want to explore the course early, now is the time.

We’d love to hear your reflections if you take part. Early learner feedback helps shape the course and supports the wider launch.

Sustainability change doesn’t happen overnight, but it does start with understanding how people change. This course is one step in that direction.
