Driving Change in the Built Environment: Example of a Multi-Stakeholder Approach with Trinity College Dublin

Earlier this quarter, we had the privilege of connecting with leaders driving transformation in the Built Environment (BE) during a dynamic workshop at Trinity Business School. πŸ—πŸŒπŸ€

Co-facilitated by Colectivo | Collective Impact and Trinity, the workshop focused on uncovering innovation opportunities in the built environment, particularly addressing climate change and fostering connections with the startup ecosystem. Over the course of a few hours, we explored strategies for creating a more sustainable and resilient future for the BE sector.

Insights and Perspectives

With extensive experience producing BE Climaccelerators, BreandΓ‘n Goss and Gavan Drohan shared key success stories and actionable insights. We also heard from Robert Cavey of the Enniscorthy International Forum and Chloe Donovan of Natural Building Systems, who offered invaluable stakeholder perspectives on challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Engaging Stakeholders to Challenge Assumptions

Sessions like these are invaluable for fostering meaningful stakeholder engagement. They provide a platform for questioning assumptions, exploring diverse perspectives, and co-creating innovative solutions. By bringing together voices from across the BE sector, these discussions challenge traditional approaches and spark fresh ideas for addressing complex challenges.

A Diverse and Engaged Audience

We were delighted to welcome representatives from Cairn, CJK, Greenman, Harcourt Technologies Ltd, IPUT Real Estate Dublin, Jones Engineering, Quintain Ireland, and TFT. These organisations brought a wealth of expertise and international experience, enriching the discussion and shaping actionable ideas for innovation in the BE sector. Together, we’re paving the way for a more sustainable future in the BE sector.
