With a background in law, corporate sustainability, and technology, she brings legal and policy expertise to the development of global ESG frameworks and responsible business standards.

As Senior Policy Manager at B Lab, Carlota leads international advocacy and standard-setting efforts that connect sustainable finance, stakeholder governance, and systems change. Her work focuses on helping align business practices with evolving regulatory expectations and broader sustainability goals across sectors and regions.

Carlota has also contributed as a technical expert to leading sustainability standard-setting processes, including as a former member of the EFRAG Technical Expert Group for the development of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. She has also engaged with GRI and ISO, supporting the translation of complex sustainability regulation into practical frameworks that can guide more accountable, transparent, and future-fit business.
