Colm Rowan is a chef, food entrepreneur, and sustainable food consultant focused on impact-led food businesses and creative ways to minimise food waste. Based in Ireland, he brings hands-on experience from across hospitality, food production, entrepreneurship, and consulting, combining a deep understanding of food with a commitment to more responsible and resilient models.
As Co-Founder of Hapi Food Co., Colm helped build a healthy meal delivery service from the ground up, overseeing menu design, cooking, production, packaging, and day-to-day operations. His work with Colectivo builds on this practical experience, supporting organisations and food businesses to explore more sustainable approaches that better serve people, planet, and profit.
Colm’s perspective is grounded in the day-to-day realities of food businesses and the opportunities for circular thinking across the sector. He is particularly interested in how creativity, policy, sustainability, and practical food innovation can come together to reduce waste and create meaningful change.
