Saminathan Subramanian is a product-focused business strategist with an engineering background, specialising in FMCG product development. His work sits at the intersection of business, consumer needs, product innovation, and user experience, with a focus on building products that integrate naturally into people’s daily routines and create measurable value.
His experience includes more than five years at Britannia Industries, where he worked across product development, product operations, launch execution, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and external partners. He has led the development of new consumer product formats, improved product development efficiency, supported large-scale manufacturing initiatives, and used user research to uncover consumer behaviour patterns that inform product design and market strategy.
Saminathan holds an MBA from IE Business School, where he strengthened his expertise in product management, behavioural insights, user research, and strategic problem-solving. Through work with Colectivo, Microsoft x IE, and TEDxIE Madrid, he has also explored UX/UI, AI-enabled product strategy, and audience experience. He brings an analytical, practical, and consumer-centred approach to building, scaling, and optimising products that support both customer satisfaction and business growth.
